Eye Cream Propaganda

Any form of propaganda is bad, so they say. And I believe this is most applicable when it comes to advertisements. I have seen so many advertisements of eye creams, which at first, has convinced this is probably God’s gift to all women like me. However, as I have seen more and more advertisements, read more and more product descriptions, and have tried more and more failures, I have reached a point wherein, I view advertisements as partially informative, but I really don’t dwell on them that much.

This thought was finally established when I saw women around me who also had the same opinion. Later on, we exchanged even more opinions, not only on advertisements, but also on the eye creams we are using, and I believe there is no better way to find out if an anti aging product works unless you are given a chance to try it. Or atleast, given a chance to hear the opinions of others who have tried it.

Instead of reading product descriptions, I’d really rather read the eye cream review. Really, the term “best eye cream” is in all product labels, but finding one that actually works? It’s all up to us…

Anti Aging Eye Cream Standards

My standards for anti aging eye creams are very specific. I know what my problems are, and I require my eye cream to serve the purpose of treating, or at least minimizing these skin problems.

First of all, let me start with the basics. It has to take away those fine lines. I want my anti wrinkle cream not only to temporarily erase those fine lines. You might want to be careful with those instant wrinkle disappearing creams because they worsen your crows lines in the long run. I dont mind waiting quite a bit, as long as I see visible differences along the way. The changes should be consistent, and continues at a specific duration of time. This is the type of anti wrinkle eye cream that I would definitely look for.

Second, the under eye cream should be able to erase the dark circles around my eyes. I am aware of my lifestyle and the time my work requires, so maybe I dont expect total disappearance, but I would definitely like to see a bit of improvement on that part. Also, since it takes time for it to minimize, the eye cream should go well under my concealer. I dont like the type that would flake once you go and put your make-up. It would only make you look absurd during the day.

The minor things I look at to determine if its the best anti aging eye cream is their packaging. I prefer something that comes in clear packages, so I can atleast see what I’m paying for. I’m a bit torn between the tub and the tube though. The tub is ideal for those last dabs, so you’re sure youre getting all that you’re paying for. The problem with this is, you have to be a hundred percent your fingers are very clean, else, you might damage your eye cream. The tube on the other hand, is great for hygene purposes, but you always end up with amounts of under eye cream stuck at the tip of the tube, which is another waste of money.

If youre looking for the best under eye cream, I would suggest listing down your standards. Reviews or eye cream sites themselves usually post the details that you have already listed down. They too have considered what women want, so make sure you know what you’re looking for.
